Bacon Candy
We've often served what our family calls Brown Sugar Bacon. It's simply oven-baked bacon that has been sprinkled with brown sugar.
Andy Krish of 8th Wonder Spice was at our Farmer's Market recently and he told us about his version using 8th Wonder. His family calls it Bacon Candy, and Andy shared the recipe! Check it out on our Recipes Page...

Taking Stock
Jenny Fulton grew up on a Forsyth County farm, planting seeds, picking crops, and putting up pickles with her mawmaw. She left the farm to follow her dream of being a wife, mother, and a successful stock broker.
The dreams came true for Jenny, but she realized of late that she wanted to return to her roots! She, and her partner Ashlee, formed Miss Jenny's Pickles and began making Salt and Pepper Pickles from a generations-old family recipe. The partners call themselves "mompreneurs".

From Farm to Fingers
Baker's Farm in Roxobel, NC grows peanuts. They use the "supers", which make up about 2% of their crop, to make their blister-fried peanuts.
The blister-frying process originated in eastern North Carolina and produces peanuts that are crunchy and less oily. The peanuts go through a hot water bath, are roasted in peanut oil for several minutes, and lightly salted.
Baker's Peanuts are a true Farm to Fingers product. The Bakers grow, process, and package every peanut that finds its way yo your family's snack bowl.
